Installing
Pivot & Roll-up Reports is installed from the Atlassian Marketplace by a Jira admin.
- In Jira, go to Apps → Explore more apps and search for Pivot & Roll-up Reports.
- Choose Get app and follow the steps to start a free trial.
- Open it from Apps in the Jira sidebar.
Subscription and trial
New installs start with a free trial. After that, the app is billed through your Atlassian subscription: a small flat price for sites with up to 10 users, then by the number of Jira users. Subscribe or cancel in Atlassian Administration, under Apps.
If the subscription lapses, nobody can open reports until it’s active again. Saved reports and settings are kept, and Jira admins can still change App settings.
What it asks for
The app asks Jira for the least it needs:
- Read Jira work and read Jira users, to load issues, fields, worklogs and people. It never creates, changes or deletes issues.
- App storage, to keep saved reports and settings.
It runs on Atlassian’s Forge platform and qualifies for Runs on Atlassian: it doesn’t talk to any server outside Atlassian. See Data and security.
After installing
- Decide who can use it in App settings. By default, everyone with Jira access can.
- Add the Pivot report gadget to a team dashboard. See Dashboards and the issue panel.
Uninstalling
Go to Jira settings → Apps → Manage apps, find Pivot & Roll-up Reports and choose Uninstall. Saved reports and settings are then deleted by Atlassian under its Forge data retention rules. If the app is reinstalled within 21 days, they can come back.
