This policy explains what personal data Embertail handles for Pivot & Roll-up Reports for Jira (“the app”) and this website.

Data in the app

The app runs on Atlassian Forge. Your Jira data, saved reports and app settings are stored by Atlassian in your Jira site’s Forge storage. Embertail does not receive, store or have access to it. Atlassian processes it under its own terms and privacy policy as part of your Atlassian subscription. Data and security lists exactly what the app stores.

AI features send prompts to Atlassian’s Forge LLMs service, as described in Data and security. They are processed by Atlassian, not by Embertail.

Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the app, and legal obligations such as keeping accounting records.

We don’t sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Who we share it with

• Atlassian, which hosts the app and runs the Marketplace.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and forwards support email.
• Google, whose Gmail service holds support email.
• Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires.

Some of these process data outside the UK, under safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

This website

This website is static. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Cloudflare, which hosts it, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, or move it. Email support@embertail.co.uk. For data in your Jira site, contact your Jira admin, who controls it. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
