Export, print and PDF

Above the table:

  • ⤓ Excel downloads an .xlsx file with numbers as numbers, ready for formulas.
  • ⤓ CSV downloads a comma-separated file.
  • Print / PDF opens your browser’s print window. Choose Save as PDF as the printer to get a PDF.

Excel and CSV include every row of the tree, whatever is expanded. Print shows the report as it is on screen, so expand the rows you want first.

What a printed report looks like

  • A header with the report’s name, its JQL, layout, filters, the number of issues and when it was printed
  • The chart, scaled to the page, if the report is a chart
  • The table, with its headings repeated on every page

Buttons and editing controls are left out, and reports print in light colours even if Jira is in dark mode. For wide tables, choose Landscape in the print window.

Everything is built in your browser: exports and PDFs never leave your computer and Atlassian.

Issue lists in drill-downs have their own ⤓ CSV button.
