Highlights and heatmaps
Make the numbers that matter stand out. Open a value’s settings (its chip, or ⋯ in its column heading) and use Highlight cells:
Above or below a threshold
Choose Above or Below, a number and a colour:
- Red for a problem, e.g. load above 100%
- Amber for a warning
- Green for good, e.g. % done above 90
The threshold is in the units you see: hours for time, percent for ratios. Highlighted cells get a coloured edge as well as a tint, and hovering shows the rule, so colour is never the only cue.
Shade by size
Shade by size turns the value into a heatmap: one blue, light for the smallest values and dark for the largest, in five steps.
- Each row level is shaded on its own scale, so epic subtotals are compared with other epics, not with the stories under them.
- Totals aren’t shaded.
- The number stays in every cell.
Highlights and shading print and save to PDF too.
