Filters and date ranges

Filters and date ranges narrow a report without changing its JQL, so you can try things quickly.

Filters

Add a field to Filters and choose:

• is or is not one or more values, e.g. Issue type is Bug, Story
• is empty or is not empty, e.g. Assignee is empty

Clicking a value in the summary above the table (a status, type or person) adds or removes a filter for it.

Date range

Date range limits the report to a period:

• Applies to: worklog dates (for time logged), created date or resolved date.
• Presets: this or last week, last 7 days, this or last month, last 30 days, this or last quarter, last 90 days, this year, or custom dates.

Presets move with time: a report saved as “last week” always shows the week before the one you open it in.

When nothing matches

If the filters or date range leave no issues, the report says so and offers Clear filters and date range.
