FAQ

Does the app change my Jira data?

No. It only reads issues, and never creates, edits or deletes them.

Does my data leave Atlassian?

No. The app runs on Atlassian’s Forge platform and talks to no other servers. Exports and PDFs are made in your browser. See Data and security.

Can people see issues they shouldn’t?

No. Every report runs with the viewer’s own Jira permissions, including shared reports, dashboard gadgets and exports.

Does the AI make up numbers?

No. The AI only writes a report’s layout, or a short explanation of numbers already on your screen. Every number is calculated by the app from your issues. See Ask AI for a report.

What happens when our AI requests run out?

The ✦ buttons pause until the 1st of the next month. Everything else keeps working.

How many issues can a report handle?

Up to 10,000 issues per report. Narrow the JQL for more.

Can I group by our own hierarchy, like themes above initiatives?

Yes. Add levels that find their parent through Jira’s parent field or any issue link. See Roll-ups and hierarchy.

I use another pivot or roll-up app. Can I switch?

Yes. Most pivot and roll-up reports can be rebuilt here: start from a template or describe the report to the AI. Reports saved in other apps can’t be imported automatically.

Does it work with Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery?

It reports on any Jira issues you can search with JQL, including service requests and ideas.

Where are my saved reports stored?

In Atlassian’s Forge storage for your site, in the same region as your Jira data.
