Troubleshooting
“Pivot & Roll-up Reports needs a subscription for this site”
The site’s free trial or subscription has ended. A Jira admin can subscribe in Atlassian Administration, under Apps. Saved reports and settings are kept in the meantime, and come back as soon as the subscription is active.
“You don’t have access to Pivot & Roll-up Reports”
Your Jira admin has limited who can use the app. Ask them to add you to one of its groups in App settings.
A purple ✦ button is greyed out
Hover over it to see why: either the site has used this month’s AI requests (they come back on the 1st), or your Jira admin hasn’t turned on AI for you.
The report shows no issues
- Check the JQL finds issues in Jira’s own search.
- Clear the filters and date range: the empty report offers a button for this.
- For a sprint report, check the sprint is open, or pick it by name.
Numbers differ for different people
That’s expected: each person sees the issues their Jira permissions allow.
Story points are missing
The app finds your site’s story point field automatically. If your site uses a different number field for estimates, add it as a Sum value instead.
The issues stop at 10,000
A report loads up to 10,000 issues. Narrow the JQL, for example by project or date.
The app looks out of date after an update
Reload the page. Jira can keep an older copy of the app open until you do.
A printed report is cut off on the right
Choose Landscape in the print window, or collapse rows and remove columns first.
