Views and charts

The same report can be shown five ways. Switch between them with the buttons above the summary; the view is saved with the report.

Pivot

The table: rows down the side, columns across the top, values in the cells. Nested rows expand and collapse. Click any number to see its issues.

Issue tree

Every issue under its parent, with rolled-up values, status and assignee. Good for epic and initiative progress.

Chart

One value from the pivot’s top level as a chart. Choose:

  • Type:
    • Bars: compare values side by side. Bars turn sideways when labels are long, such as epic names.
    • Stacked: each bar split by the columns.
    • 100%: each bar as shares of its total, to compare the mix across groups.
    • Line: a trend over dates or sprints.
    • Area: a trend, stacked by the columns; a single series is a line over a light wash.
    • Donut: each row’s share of the total, at most six slices with the rest in Other.
  • Value, when the report has several.
  • Rows along the axis or Columns along the axis (for a donut, Slices are rows or columns).

Stacked, 100%, area and donut charts appear only for values that add up, such as counts and sums, not averages or percentages.

Hover over a bar, point or slice to see its numbers; click it to open its issues. Every number is also in the table under the chart.

Timesheet

Hours logged per person and issue, day by day for a week or week by week for a month. Step back and forward with ‹ and ›, and pick one person or everyone.

Capacity

Each person’s open work against what they can do: remaining estimates due in the next few weeks (or with no due date) against hours per week. Set the hours and the number of weeks. People over capacity stand out. Calendars and holidays aren’t taken into account yet.
